A vehicle skin is essentially vinyl that is applied fully (a complete colour change), partially (a gloss black roof) or even in the interior. These vehicle skins come in all different colours and sizes giving the car owner the ability to use their imagination and bring their fantasy car to life. With endless options such as matte, satin, and gloss finishes, chrome, or even carbon fibre the designs for vehicle skins are endless. The design itself can range from pictures, graphics, business logos, or even small details and accents. We now offer at Sekanskin exclusive vinyls such as luminescent (glow in the dark), iridescent (changes colour with different angles of light) and velvet films.

Sekanskin Wraps range from vinyl warranties up to 10 years. The wraps can last longer depending on how you care and maintain for your vehicle and your vehicle wrap.

There’s an old saying that goes, “you get what you pay for”. Here at Sekanskin we make sure that when our clients come in and ask for a seamless perfected paint-like skin that that is exactly what they receive. We take those extra steps in removing parts, include wrapping extra parts to ensure the best look, and also we provide a certain quality of meticulous perfection with every job. Our team is trained with a zero tolerance for hack jobs or less than 100% quality work. We make sure that when you get your work done with us, that it is done right the first time.

Yes, Sekanskin makes sure the installation of your vehicle wrap is flawless and up to your standards. In some cases, warranty may be an issue if the vinyl was not purchased by us or by our supplier. Purchasing your own vinyl will not lower the cost, in fact, in most cases it increases your cost because our established business cost for vinyl is much less than the general public’s cost.

The main focus of caring for your vehicle skin is by keeping the surface clean. A weekly hand wash using car cleaning products such as “AERO” or “Go Clean” can help extend the life span of your wrap. Not using any waxes or strong chemicals on the surface of your vehicle skin plays a bigger factor to consider if you have a matte colour.

Car skins such as colour changes (whether it’s gloss white or matte black) will offer only minimal protection for your vehicle. For premium protection against stone chips, jewellery scuffs, and scratches, Sekanskin offers Paint Protection Film (PPF) that is specifically designed to protects against all of those naturally occurring problematic issues to your vehicle’s surface.

Wrap projects vary from 2 to 7 days depending on the complexity, material and size of vehicle. Rare cases of complex customizations ask for even more time to ensure the job will be completed to the customers standards of expectation.

Vehicle wraps, including bus wraps and fleet wraps, are comprised of three phases. The first is the design phase which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and actual design of the graphics to be applied. The second is the production phase where the graphic is printed and then laminated to protect the vinyl from abrasions and UV rays that can cause graphics to fade over time. The third phase is installation where the vinyl is actually applied to your vehicle. In some cases there may even be a fourth phase, the removal of graphics if requested.

Our quality vehicle wraps in comparison to a quality paint job are much more affordable. Consistency and colour is never an issue at Sekanskin. Most importantly, it is not permanent which means it can removed at any time, and in many cases can increase the resell value to prospective buyers as well as preserving your car’s original paint colour. Of course, there is also the awesome versatility with vinyl that allows us to bring your true custom creative ideas to life.

Yes they are definitely street legal, but if you change the colour you must go to the MTO (Ministry of Transportation) or any Service Ontario location to change the colour of your vehicle on the ownership. This will only take 5 minutes and will not cost anything. http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/vehicle/getinfo.shtml

We pride ourselves with our quality care and customer service. We have a zero tolerance policy for “hack jobs”, quick fixes, or anything less than quality workmanship. We are 3M certified ,and only use the best quality films such as 3M, Lamin-X, Avery, etc. Most of all, we treat and respect every car and customer that enters our door with professionalism and perfection.

We strongly recommend that you get a “basic” wash without any waxes or sealants (just simple soap and water) before you bring the vehicle to us. This decreases the required completion time and leaves our team with more wrapping time and less cleaning time.

The benefits of having a vehicle skin means that if something happens in your daily life, such as a scratch on your door, a stone chip, or any scuffs on the surface, you have the ability to replace the single panel of vinyl and in some rare cases, we have special techniques that can salvage the surface damage without replacement.
